
Jeanne Zhen Zhang is a documentary filmmaker from China and
currently an MFA candidate in Documentary Film and Video at
Stanford University.
Her work investigates the shifting relationship between systems
and human subjectivity through moving images. She considers how
structures of power do not merely represent human experience, but
actively reshape perception, behaviour, and the conditions through
which reality is understood.
Before turning to documentary, she earned law degrees from China and
the Netherlands.
